Message	is to take your 1/8 mile time and multiply it by.65...works pretty well for me. However a couple of possible variables that will throw the equation off: traction must be somewhat decent (ie. you can't be spinning your tires through the first two gears) and no missed shifts; other than that I have found this to fairly accurately predict 1/4 mile times from 1/8.
